Martha L. McCook is a modern Alchemist. She has been an artist her whole life and in the Healing Arts for over 30 years, holding certificates of mastery in Massage Therapy, Herbalism, Karuna/Reiki, NLP, Flower Essence Therapy and is a Life Coach. She was ordained as a Healing Minister in 1980.
As a child she loved hearing her father tell the story of his tattoo. In her years as a licensed massage therapist she has seen 30 years of body art, heard the stories, admired the beauty, and watched even older tattoos come to life with the TLC of massage and oil.

Martha has a deep respect for tattoos as an art form, tattooing as artistic expression, and for the genius of the artist's ability to focus, with precision, on a small area for long periods of time, to create an everlasting and personal mark.
